Shotty Knee

This will be a post where I feel the need to vent. So feel free to ignore this post. I don't know if these issues come from mom's side of the family or my dad's. But whoever you are thanks SO much. For those of you who know me well, you know that I had some knee problems with my knees requiring arthroscopic surgery on both of them. And some of you may know that those problems have come back and then some. After trying some conservative methods to alleviate the pain (braces, therapy and medication) they were not succesful. Which means I need to have surgery to fix some problems and try to figure out what is causing all the pain. It is never a good sign when your doctor walks in and tells you that you shouldn't be having these problems because you are only 31 years old. I guess surgery is a bittersweet thing because as much fun as surgery is not, it will be nice to walk without pain. The thing I worry the most about is how in the heck I am going to take care of and keep up with 4 boys with only one knee. Oh well, wish me luck in the next few weeks.

A New Best Friend

Winnie the Pooh has been replaced. Coleman has a new best friend in the form of a plastic blue stepping stool. He has been carrying it around with him everywhere for the past couple of days. Why you may be asking yourself?? Because he realized that he can get into ANYTHING with this stool, and believe me he can. He got into his brother's piggy banks. Today he ate half of a 4lbs package of grapes from Costco, and almost touched the stove while I was making salsa. I also caught him using it to drink toilet water. He is going to be a fun one, and he isn't even two.
Going back to the staples story, he had quite the day today. He put his tooth through his lip, got run over by a bike, and fell on his head. All of these incidents drew blood. I tell you, life with boys especially this one is NEVER boring.
