UNCLE VANCE GOT MARRIED!!!!!!!

Uncle Vance was married this month, and the boys had such a good time at the wedding. Troy and I almost didn't make it to the temple because the refinery a few blocks from our house had an explosion that morning. But everything worked and we made it in time for the ceremony. I forgot how long the day is when there is a wedding, pictures, dinner etc. The boys were troopers and were in really good until towards the end of the night when they were so tired. Jackson spent most of the night following the world series on his uncles iphone.(much to Troy's delight) He kept giving us updates and would get mad when we made him turn off the phone during the prayer. We had to be there for pictures 2.5 hours before the dinner. I think the workers at the Joseph Smith Memorial building were happy to see us go into the room for the dinner. I think our boys made treads in the carpet from all the laps they did running around upstairs. It also made Troy and I so grateful that we were already married and didn't have to go through that day again.

Halloween

Some of you may wonder why I didn't take more pictures of the boys for Halloween. Because these pictures with all of them were the best two pictures and it took about 20 minutes to get them. Walker refuses to look at you when you take a picture. I don't know why. Maybe I should tell him I will throw candy at him that he can catch in his mouth when I take pictures. His mouth would be open in every picture but at least he would be looking at the camera. He also wanted to be a vampire and insisted on using black teeth. I think he looks like a vampire with tooth decay, but at least he was happy. Jackson wanted to be a ghost but refused to wear the mask or let me paint his face. According to him boys don't wear make-up. So use your imagination to make his costume scary. Coleman had his first Halloween party for preschool this year. This is a picture with him and "his favorite friend in the entire world" before preschool. I think holidays are exhausting and am glad I have a year to get ready for next Halloween.

Welcome back blog part two

I feel like I should rename this blog Colemans accidents. Two weeks ago Landon took a toy away from Coleman. He didn't realize it until about 10 minutes later and got really mad and chased Landon into my room. He tripped and fell and hit his head on my bed frame. I was just mad that he was yelling at Landon, so I helped him up and put him in his room for a time-out. I am such a good mom that I didn't even look at where he hit his head. Two minutes later I told him that he could come out, and he came out with blood everywhere. He had hit his eye and split open his skin. Needless to say after a trip to instacare, dermabond and a bandaid and he was put together again. I swear between falling down that stairs ALOT, getting hit in the head with a baseball bat, and everything else this kid does, I am surprised and grateful he doesn't have brain damage.

Welcome back blog....

Okay so it has been a little while since I have updated my blog. (Thanks everyone for the reminders) I don't really have a good excuse, just that I never keep a journal for more than 2 days. So why should that change with a computer journal. I will never be as good as Doogie Howser. But here you go. Colemans birthday was in September, I can't believe that he turned three. His favorite present was a New York Yankees baseball hat. We also signed him up for a baseball class at a nearby indoor baseball facility. I accidentally forgot to bring his hat to his first class, and he was so upset it took me about 5 minutes to talk him into playing without his hat. I hope those instructors get paid lots of money to teach 10 three year olds how to play baseball once a week for an hour. I came home from every class with a migraine.
