I know it is time to put another entry in my blog when I have people calling and telling me I am a slacker. So I will post now while my Ohio State Buckeyes are holding their own against Texas. At least they are keeping it closer than they have the last two years. Those of you who are die hard Buckeyes will know what I am talking about. My whole family was in town for the holidays and that took up a lot of free time. If you are ever bored go to a Texas Road House restaraunt and tell them you need a table for 19 and watch the look of panic in their eyes. I actually laughed out loud because I thought the hostess was going to start to cry. Anyhow, we did a lot with the family. We ate out a ton, ate TONS of junk food, went skiing, went tubing and played lots of games. My kids only cousins live in Colorado and they only see them 2-3 times a year so they had a blast. Jackson made them play all kinds of weird games that he made up but they loved it, so I can't complain too much. But really, what kind of kid thinks it is fun to play "illegal fireworks" by jumping out of bean bag chairs. And what kind of kid choreographs 6 kids jumping on and off of them in time. That would be my oldest child. And yes, sometimes I am a little concerned about him.

Walker also celebrated his 5th birthday on New Years Eve. That kids birthday lasted almost a week. Starting last Tuesday with his family party and ending today with his birthday at preschool. I am sure glad I don't have to worry about another birthday for 2 months. I was not born to host parties, I am anti-Martha Stewart. So those of you who enjoy it, call me and you can cater Jackson's birthday in March. Walker wanted a transformer birthday and so he invited 6 friends and we went bowling. I will owe my sister for the rest of my life for helping me control 6 boys with 8 pound bowling balls. Minus a few accidents with the balls everything worked out. But for those of you who have small children who eat everything off the ground, I am sorry to say that they do not grow out of it by the time they are 5. I caught Walker sitting on the ground putting peanuts in his mouth. And I have no idea where the peanuts came from.

New Years Eve was really fun. I told Walker on his birthday when he turned 4 that he could stay up until midnight on his next birthday. I am obviously very nieve because I thought he would completely forget about that. He reminded me a few times during the year, but everyday of December he told me. It was actually really fun. We had some good friends come over to play games and the Wii. All of my boys made it until midnight. And then Troy and I got to stay up even later cleaning up throw-up from all the junk my kids ate that day. Happy New Year to us. Someday the red vomit stain will come out of my new brown carpet. I love my boys. I hope you all had as much fun over the holidays as I did.
